The stop was made around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 in Mount Vernon when New York State Police troopers pulled over a 2009 Acura RL for several violations of the vehicle and traffic law in the city of Mount Vernon, on 1st Street.
It was determined the driver, Thomas Davis, age 46, of Bronx, was in illegal possession of approximately 75 grams of crack-cocaine, 15 grams of MDMA(3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine), 11 grams of Fentanyl, and 1 gram Alprazolam, said police.
Davis was charged with:
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony,
- Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with Intent to sell in the third degree, a felony;
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the fifth degree, a felony,
- Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Davis was arraigned before the city of Mount Vernon Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
